It's the UK's national gallery of modern art, located in a former power station on the South Bank of the Thames.
What's the Tate Modern like?
I really wanted to like the Tate Modern. I had been twice and came away disappointed both times, so I went back. But it just seems so confusing - there's a lot of space but no real direction on where to go or what to look at. I spent £1 on a map which told me where the restaurants were without really telling me what artworks I could or should see. It also seems extremely pleased with itself. I'm sorry.Where is the Tate Modern?
